Bus to Woodlands Train Checkpoint from MRT: My Journey from Singapore
I still remember that morning at Woodlands Bus Interchange. The station was crowded. Students gossiped with friends, commuters rushed to work, and others carried backpacks like me. I was heading to JB (Johor Bahru), so it was the first step of my journey.
I needed to check the signboards to find Berth B11. Bus 856 was waiting there. After that, I tapped my EZ-Link Card and stepped onto the bus. I was lucky to find a window seat. I felt like a victory.
When Bus 856 pulled away from the Woodlands Bus Interchange, the streets of Woodlands unfolded outside the window. After two or three minutes, it started raining. A few stops later, we saw the board displaying the name of Woodlands Train Checkpoint. I pressed the stop button and stepped off the bus. It was a really memorable journey for me.
